Conference Weekend

Saturday I asked Daddy to take care of lunch for him and little man.  This is what I found when I came home to watch Conference with the family.  Little man first time eating in the living room with a TV tray.  Boy we have started early.  Then little man worn out from a big lunch and listening to all the talks.

The next day we got to share conference with my sister and her boys.  Here we are in between sessions grabbing shots of apple juice.

Day in Lancaster

It was a beautiful day in Lancaster, PA.  We stopped at a Amish Village to tour.  The kids had fun with all the things they could play on and touch.

Day of Chocolate - Hershey's

Let the adventures begin.

Spring Break - Just the beginning

We were so lucky that my sister and her kids decided to come spend their spring break with us. We had so much fun together and the cousins got to play together.
We spend the day at a local farm, they had so many things for the kids to play with and on.

We played in corn kernels.

Feed the animals

We all had a great time at the farm.

Everyone got in on the fun.

The kids learned how to make snow kernels in the corn.

Enjoying the Sunny Days this Winter

Little Man loves to be outside and playing at the park.
Little Man was still able to get out with friends this winter even though his mommy was not.

Getting Caught Up

The title of this post says it all. I can't believe that is is May 2013 already. I am sort of embarrassed that my last post was in January 2013. Since I broke my ankle in two places the healing process was quite an ordeal. We had so much help from friends all along the way. Then my parents came and spend some time with us. My goal was to be able to walk and drive before they left. I did it. Still with a limp and not being able to carry my son and walk at the same time. It has taken some time to heal, and I am still healing. It still is sore, doesn't swell up like it used to. But still stiff first thing in the morning when I wake up and through out the day. Overall, I am in better shape since I received so  much help so that I could properly heal
Ready for surgery, I had to mark yes on the leg that I wanted surgery on.  The Dr. also marked.
The day I got of the cast..

Day to Day Shots

My little family has been so blessed with all the help we have received since I broke my ankle. Most importantly little man has been well taken care of with lots of love throughout the days with the wonderful woman who have take him into their homes. I have absolutely loved it when I get a picture text to me or email of pictures of my little man in action. I feel like a part of their day and that makes my day laying in bed extra special. Here are some more random shots of day to day of Little Man on his adventures.
Playing with his friend.

Look at that wild hair, man he needs a haircut.

Playing a duet.

Riding on a rocking horse.

Little Man just woke up from a 3 hour nap.  WOW that is a record breaking nap for him.  I want to know the secret to get him to sleep that long during the day.

DC Little Man

I absolutely love dressing my little boy. But this week his daddy dressed him for church and I think he did a great job. He looks like a little business man.

Daddy and Little Man - Two of my favorite guys

Hey Mom just wanted to check in with you.

My Sweet Little Man

Happy New Year

I am excited for 2013.

I love this time of year. The break from the Holidays, which this year was not too stressful. Considering I spent the time in bed with my leg elevated. I enjoy thinking about What the new year will bring. How my family will grow and change, what adventures will we go on? What will I be doing this time next year. I look at what I was doing this time last year. It makes me reflect on the year and help me see what I want 2013 to become.  In the meantime I am just sitting back and enjoying this time and happy to see my little man being well taken care of from our ward family here.
Sunday Nursery sent this picture home with a Christmas card,  What a sweet little boy.
