I have just discovered a new favorite flower. Peony! Last week I saw these at Safeway for $3.99, they were still in the bulb stage with no blooms. Not sure what they would do so I took a chance and bought the bouquet. This week to my surprised they opened up. Look how beautiful they are. The fragrant is fabulous! Flowers are one of those things no matter what they are they make me smile when I see them. I have decided this is an item that has made my list to plant in our next house.

My Grandma grew Peonys, and they have always been one of my favorite. Be proud of yourself, that is a killer price! Orthella gave me one for mothers day last year, and it makes me happy everytime I see it.
Those flowers are pretty! Flowers make me smile too! :D
I agree- fresh (blooming or cut) flowers always make me smile as well. Luckily we are finally in our own house and I am planting lots of fun flowering plants all around- jasmine, gardenia, day lilies, calla lilies, birds of paradise... So exciting to see them burst forth!
